Hodges its strictly a Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday schedule. H

Good ‘ol Lake Hodges has all the facilities, boat launch, eats, rentals and bait.

” Contact: San Diego water 465-3474. Fishing Lake Hodges is hectic at times but it is a fantastic fishery routinely producing big fish, even a a 20 pounder. The 1200 acre lake elevation of 330. feet, and sometime has more anglers than water.

But in the spring the opener and after is very productive. Head to the Narrows near Felicita Bay, the dam, in early season the Bernardo arm, our where you see markers sticking up. Get early to this Lake!!

Use plastic worms, spinners, and crank baits, but hese fish are smart so fish with vary retireve speeds and sensitive takes on the worms. Look for the bigger bass in 10 to 20 feet deep.

In addition, the crappie ﬁshing is quite good..
